ピアース・ブロスナンと「L.A.コンフィデンシャル」のガイ・ピアースが共演したサスペンススリラー。大学で哲学を教えているエバンは、妻や2人の子どもに囲まれ幸せな人生を送っていた。そんなある日、1人の女子学生が失踪し、エバンの車が失踪現場の近くで目撃されたことから容疑者として目をつけられてしまう。捜査が進むうちに、複数の女子学生と浮気を楽しんでいたというエバンの過去も発覚。やがて、失踪していた女子学生が遺体となって発見される。共演に「グッド・ウィル・ハンティング 旅立ち」のミニー・ドライバー、「X-MEN」シリーズのアレクサンドラ・シップ。
